Banff Sunrise Elopement with Friends and Family
This sunrise elopement in Banff National Park is now featured on Confetti Magazine Canada
Meredith & Evan’s sunrise elopement in Banff was nothing short of magic. We met before the sun came up, the world still wrapped in that peaceful stillness that only exists in the early morning. As the sky slowly shifted from deep blue to soft gold, the mountains began to glow around us, casting reflections over the glassy water. In that moment, it truly felt like Banff was putting on a show just for them—quiet, radiant, and full of promise.
What I loved most about their elopement was how intentional and personal it felt. With no timeline to chase and no crowd to entertain, they were fully present—with each other and with the moment. I saw it in the way Meredith looked at Evan as he read his vows. And in the way she smiled through tears as the sun rose behind them. It was intimate, emotional, and completely theirs.
After the ceremony, we lingered in the golden light. We took portraits in the same open field where they had exchanged vows just moments before. The grass sparkled with morning dew, and the sun continued its slow rise, casting a soft, dreamy haze over everything. Meanwhile, Meredith and Evan wandered hand in hand, laughing softly and completely wrapped up in each other. There was no rush—just a calm, quiet joy that filled the air. Ultimately, it’s moments like these, no matter the kind of celebration, that remind me why I love what I do: when time slows down and you can truly feel the meaning in it all.
Meredith and Evan, thank you for inviting me into your day. Your love, your laughter, and the way you embraced every moment made this morning unforgettable. Banff was the perfect witness to the beginning of your forever!
