Waterton Wedding – Mountaintop Elopement

Waterton wedding – a world pandemic caused them to change their plans last minute, and we created an epic, mountain-top wedding adventure!

There’s so much I could say about this Waterton Wedding day, where do I even begin? Racquelle & Bryson are two sweet souls who got married on a mountaintop and had the most peaceful, beautiful, summer day.

They started their wedding celebrations with a hike to the ceremony spot and brought along their closest two friends to witness them become one, along with the officiant and us (my husband Stephen and myself) of course. I brought my speakers and we listened to music all the way up and saw many squirrels on the way — it was such a great time!

At the top of this mountain…

We found a more private spot at the top for Racquelle to get into her dress. Her “getting ready” spot was EPIC and had the most incredible views ever. Meanwhile, Bryson and the boys also got changed and put on their suits.

Racquelle & Bryson then had their first look *insert cry emoji* and shared some private letters with each other. This was one of my favorite moments of their day. Because they took the time to face each other, pour their hearts out through their letters, and took in the fact that this day was here. They truly, finally were getting married today.

After their perfect, intimate first look they had their ceremony in front of the beautiful Waterton Valley. There happened to be a school group (or maybe it was just a very large extended family) at the location as well. They all sat quietly and watched the whole ceremony. They witnessed Racquelle & Bryson promising forever to one another. The whole thing was beautiful. They also cheered “hoorah” during their first kiss!

They then celebrated with a little picnic and ended the day with their first dance under the stars.

Stephen & I are so honored to have been part of planning & capturing their romantic, intimate mountaintop wedding.  Also… Stephen KILLED it on their wedding video, watch it below and try not to cry. *Insert crying face*.
