Capturing Karen and Philip’s Lake Louise proposal photos in Banff was truly a special experience! The moment unfolded beautifully right in front of the stunning Fairmont Château Lake Louise, with the majestic glacier-carved peaks towering in the background. There’s something undeniably magical about Lake Louise, and it was the perfect location for such an unforgettable occasion. As Karen said the sweetest “yes,” surrounded by the serene beauty of the mountains, it felt like a dream come true for them!
One of my favourite aspects of being involved in proposals is helping couples with the planning process. Many couples approach me feeling nervous. They often ask questions like, “Where should I propose?” or “How do I hide the ring?” It’s incredibly rewarding to offer advice, ease their worries, and guide them through the process. From helping choose the ideal location to providing tips on making everything run smoothly, I love being able to relieve some of their stress. This way, they can focus on the magic of the moment! Seeing their excitement and knowing I played a role in such an important day is truly heartwarming.
For Karen and Philip, everything came together perfectly. Witnessing their joy as the proposal unfolded was emotional. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of such a significant moment in their lives. Helping them bring their surprise to life and being there to capture it was a true privilege.
