Banff Winter Engagement Photos at Lake Minnewanka After Proposal
Shooting these winter engagement photos for Tyler and Amanda in Banff was truly so much fun (can you tell by the photos?). I always feel so honored to capture and help with the planning of, such precious moments in people’s lives. I feel like I never have enough words to describe sessions that feel this fun, natural, and like we were meant to meet and become friends. Tyler had reached out to me saying he had planned on proposing to Amanda! He wanted to do it the night they arrived in Banff, which happened to be the night before we shot these photos together. They stayed at Banff Springs Hotel and I believe he proposed to her soon after they got to their hotel. This engagement session that Tyler had booked with me was a complete surprise to Amanda, and so was the proposal, of course. We met up early the next morning and I was so excited to meet them in person! These two were the kindest people to be around and I’m so happy to call them new friends of mine. Also, can we TALK about Amanda’s GORGEOUS RING?! I was so so obsessed.
