Romantic Banff proposal photos – Bryan and Katrina’s sweet story:
There’s so much I could say about this precious morning/these Banff proposal photos at moraine lake. When Bryan reached out to me about planning their “special moment”, I knew it was going to be a good time!
Bryan and Katrina traveled to Banff for a short trip to see the Canadian Rockies for the first time, and to celebrate Katrina’s birthday. Also to propose to her, Katrina did not know about that plan. She thought they were getting some couple-photos done as her birthday present *wink wink*.
We started our adventure by meeting up in the parking lot, and I was greeted with lots of dog snuggles from their pup Leo! After chatting a little we headed up to the viewpoint together. Once we were near the spot I had picked out for their proposal, Bryan snuck the ring out of the bag he brought with him and walked toward Katrina, who was standing on a rock facing the mountains (like I had asked her to). Then it happened!! He asked the big question and she said YES. Lots of happy tears and lots of strangers cheering them on. It was such a beautiful, special moment! Also, can we talk about the views at Moraine Lake this morning?! So dreamy.
After taking some engagement photos for them at Moraine Lake we headed to another lake nearby (Lake Louise) to take some more! It was a complete honor planning this with Bryan and being a part of their special moment. Congrats you two!
