Maui will always hold a special place in my heart after this unforgettable Hawaii destination wedding. Standing barefoot in the sand, camera in hand, watching Monica and Nathan promise forever with the ocean behind them and the warm Hawaiian breeze dancing through the air, it truly felt like time stood still.
Their day was everything a destination wedding should be: intimate, heartfelt, and effortlessly beautiful. Monica looked absolutely radiant in her Made With Love Bridal gown—elegant, modern, and so perfectly her.
They chose a quiet, tucked-away stretch of beach for their ceremony—no crowds, no distractions, just the sound of the waves, the rustle of the palms, and the genuine emotion in their vows. It was simple, serene, and powerful. From the very first moment, you could feel the love in every detail.
Following the ceremony, we took a short walk to a nearby beachside spot for portraits, and let me just say—golden hour in Maui is something else. The light wrapped around them like a warm hug, and it made for the most dreamy, romantic photos. As the sun dipped lower, everything seemed to glow, and it was one of those moments where everything aligns perfectly.
Later that evening, came one of my favourite parts of the day: an intimate dinner under the stars. Long tables, island-inspired dishes, candles flickering in the breeze, and heartfelt toasts that made us laugh and cry in equal measure. Instead of a typical large wedding reception, this felt like a cozy family gathering—filled with warmth, intention, and deep connection.
I’m so grateful I got to be there, not just as a photographer, but as someone lucky enough to witness a truly special moment in a stunning location with genuinely beautiful people.
