Lake Louise Wedding With Dogs at Fairmont Chateau in Banff National Park
What a precious sunrise wedding day at Lake Louise! These two planned such a beautiful, simple, intimate gathering with their friends and family at Fairmont Chateau in Banff National Park to share their vows and have a fun and relaxing wedding day in the mountains. They spent the morning getting ready in the hotel and then headed to their “first look” spot to see each other for the first time. We picked a spot with a beautiful view of the lake and gave them some privacy to share some personal words with each other. Katie actually wrote Chan a song and sang it to him as the rain started to pour on them. It was so beautiful. *Cue the tears*.
First looks are always some of my absolute favorite moments of the day to capture and be a part of, not just because finally seeing each other is so exciting, emotional, and full of anticipation for the couple, but because it’s usually one of the only times that you get to spend intentional quality time together with your significant other. And time on your wedding day is so incredibly important.
Their ceremony was full of tears and emotion. Not only from everyone witnessing but me as well, behind my camera. These two didn’t care at all about the rainy weather. They only cared about wanting to get married to the person in front of them. They had their three dogs (yes you read that right) attend their ceremony and it was the sweetest thing! Everything about this wedding at Lake Louise was one for the books. Congrats you two!
